Medigap Plan A
Although Medigap Plan A is the most basic of the 12 Medigap plans, it still has a lot to offer. This plan is perfect for those who need great cost coverage for Original Medicare at a very low price.
Make sure that you do not confuse Medigap Plan A with Medicare Part A. Plan A is supplemental insurance to cover Medicare out-of pocket costs, while Part A is hospital insurance provided through the federal government as part of Original Medicare.
Medigap Plan A Cost
Plan A is a great option for those who don’t want to pay for coverage they won’t use. You will pay a significantly lower monthly premium and have your most basic healthcare costs covered.
Your monthly premium for Medigap Plan A depends on the provider you choose. While all companies offer the same coverage, some benefits options and costs will vary.
