Medigap Plan M offers great coverage at a lower cost. Compared to other plans, it functions a bit differently. Rather than offering an overall cost coverage of 50% like Plan K, it covers 100% in most areas, and 50% of just the Medicare Part A deductible.

Medigap Plan M Comparison
Medigap Plan M is a great option for those who want a reasonably priced plan with coverage they know they will use. Its coverage offerings and lower percentage of the Part A deductible means lower monthly premiums.
This plan offers more coverage than Plans A or B, and therefore reduces your risk of out-of-pocket costs. Many Medicare beneficiaries find that they prefer this plan over A or B for the skilled nursing care facility and the percentage of the Part A deductible coverage.
If you feel that you want more coverage than Plan M, however, you may want to consider Plan C or D. Plan C is still lower cost than other plans, but covers 100% of the Part A and Part B deductibles. If you don’t need the Part B deductible coverage but still want 100% of the Part A deductible covered, you may opt for Plan D instead.
